Job description
ABOUT AVANT ARTE
Avant Arte is a curated marketplace that makes discovering and collecting art radically more accessible for a new generation. Our team of passionate experts collaborate with leading contemporary artists from across the globe to create bespoke limited-edition artworks to browse and collect. We began as a cult blog of contemporary artists and since 2015 we've grown our community to over 3.3 million strong across more than 100 countries. We're proud to collaborate with leading contemporary artists to create limited edition works - from sculpture editions and works on paper to NFTs and hand-finished silkscreen prints.
OUR CULTURE
We’re a small team with really big ambitions, both for what we want to achieve and also the environment we’re building. We want to create a company that remains thoughtful as we scale and tries to be genuinely progressive in how we operate. We want people to really own what they do and be given the autonomy and freedom to make mistakes, learn, and create something meaningful.
We all work incredibly hard because we really care about what Avant Arte is here to do – we’re looking for exceptional people who are proactive, hungry to learn, and want to put their pride in our collective achievements.
We know that creating an inclusive environment that promotes and values diversity is critical if we want to build something with impact and meaning. We believe that having diversity in age, background, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity, and perspective will make us an infinitely better company. We were shortlisted for Women in Tech’s Best Employer - Small Company and Best Benefits, and Otta’s top 100 startups to work at.
WHAT WE NEED
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Growth & GTM Manager to help drive the early-stage growth of arte.bio, a new product from Avant Arte. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role at the intersection of growth marketing, product, and operations- ideal for someone who thrives in zero-to-one environments and wants to shape the future of a new platform.
The core of your role will include:
Early growth strategy & execution: You’ll lead and execute early-stage GTM and growth initiatives for arte.bio, working closely with Product, Marketing, and Bizops teams to:
Acquire, onboard, and retain early users of the tool
Refine what the most effective proposition for growth is- and ensure the product and positioning deliver on it
Develop early traction in our growth channels, and optimise operations across them (SEO, community marketing, outbound, inbound, etc)
Build user feedback loops to help evolve the product and improve the onboarding experience
Define, track and report on key growth metrics and make actionable recommendations
Cross-Functional GTM Ops: You’ll be at the centre of arte.bio’s cross-functional efforts, helping to:
Set up the operational foundations for early growth and scale
Shape and drive arte.bio’s GTM roadmap in partnership with product and marketing
Identify and remove blockers to growth, and implement tools and processes that accelerate learning and iteration
Support specific product and marketing initiatives, including helping roll out new features
Help arte.bio grow as fast as possible- in a way that’s sustainable and aligned to user value
User insights and feedback loops: You’ll play a key role in shaping how arte.bio learns from its earliest users, ensuring those insights drive meaningful improvements in strategy, operations and product. That means:
Running structured and scrappy user research to understand needs, pain points and behaviours
Synthesising feedback from across channels (support, account management, analytics) into actionable themes
Working with product and design to shape the roadmap and prioritise features
Helping close the loop with users, so they feel heard and see change
Commercial Analysis & Insight: you’ll support on:
Growth funnel reporting and user insights: from acquisition through to monetisation
Business model exploration: working with the product and strategy teams to test, validate and iterate on monetisation strategies (e.g. subscriptions, commission-based models, etc.)
WE THINK YOU’LL PROBABLY HAVE:
3–5 years of experience in a strategic, commercial or product-adjacent role (e.g. Growth, Business Operations, Strategy, Product Marketing, or similar)
Experience working on early-stage products, ideally at a startup or fast-moving product team
A strong commercial and product sense- you’re confident designing tests, analysing performance, and shaping what to do next
A desire to work hands-on and cross-functionally- not just to make the plan, but to roll up your sleeves and execute it
Bonus: experience with marketplaces, creator tools, or product-led growth
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Growth mindset & experimentation chops: you’re comfortable moving fast and iterating based on data and intuition
Clear, action-oriented communication: you can translate complexity into clarity for a range of audiences
Operational sharpness: you’re organised, structured and process-minded — you help bring momentum and focus to cross-functional work
Collaborative energy: you build trust quickly and can bring together diverse stakeholders around shared goals
A passion for building new things: you get energy from ambiguity, love early-stage building, and want to help arte.bio grow from day one
Don’t meet every single requirement? Avant Arte is dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic team so we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
